Design the
Big Game
University Branding, Marketing & Motion Graphics at Levi’s Stadium
2026 // What happens when student design meets the biggest stage in professional sports?
Design the Big Game is an instructor-developed collaborative initiative created by Professor Zoya Laskowski and officially approved and selected by the San Francisco 49ers for the 2026–27 academic year. Through this unique partnership, University of the Pacific students step into the role of a professional creative studio, developing branding, marketing, and motion graphics campaigns designed to represent Pacific within the high-energy environment of Levi’s Stadium.
From Classroom
to Stadium
Developed through The Applied Design Lab, an incubator-style design studio led by Professor Laskowski as Creative Director and Principal Investigator, the project brings students together as a collaborative creative cohort.
Rather than working on isolated classroom exercises, students contribute to a larger design initiative—researching, ideating, designing, presenting, receiving feedback, and refining their work as a team.
The experience is designed to mirror the pace, collaboration, expectations, and creative problem-solving of a professional design studio.
